Shipping Policy

Processing/Shipping:

Our products are made in small batches to ensure freshness, so our processing time to fulfill your order for shipment is usually 5-7 days (not including holidays). Orders are usually shipped within a week from order fulfillment, Monday - Wednesday only, excluding holidays. Due to Covid 19, there may be delays in carrier deliveries beyond our control. However, if there is a problem, please reach out to us and we will try to resolve the issue.

If your order is returned to us by the shipping carrier, we will refund you the cost of the items purchased NOT the cost of SHIPPING. This includes for reasons such as an incorrect shipping address. Please double check your shipping address for accuracy.

Please note, our traditional body butters (non-emulsified) and scrubs are sensitive to changes in temperature and will melt or soften at 76 degrees Fahrenheit or higher. If this happens, the integrity/effectiveness of the product is not affected and may still be used. We do not replace or issue refunds due to melting. You may refrigerate the product for an hour or so to reharden or solidify the product. In addition, under colder conditions the product may harden and can be softened by leaving it at room temperature. Again, the product's effectiveness is not affected. With melted body butters, it may appear that the jar does not contain the stated amount, but each product has been weighed accurately.

Our body butters take up more container volume due to the whipping process and as such for example, a 4 oz. body butter will be contained in an 8 oz. jar, while 8 oz. of body butter will be contained in a 16 oz. jar. Should the body butter melt, the amount will appear to be less than the stated label value at purchase or if previously used, less than before because it will no longer have the same whipped consistency.

ATTENTION- please note that our butters contain only butters and oils, therefore they are heat sensitive. If you are ordering for shipment between May-September, the butter will be frozen prior to shipment, placed in insulated wrapping with an ice pack. Unfortunately, these precautions may not totally eliminate all melting risk. We recommend using a quicker shipping carrier and also following the tracking information so that you can immediately retrieve the order upon arrival. If melting does occur, place the body butter in the refrigerator for about an hour and it will firm back up. The texture will no longer be whipped but the benefits and scents are not impacted.
